Juliette Valle

Miss Florida 2023

Juliette Valle, a 22-year-old recent graduate of the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with minors in Broadcast Journalism, Theatre Arts, and Classical Vocal Performance at the Frost School of Music. Born and raised in South Florida, Juliette loved attending the University of Miami and achieved Dean’s List and Provost Honor Roll distinctions. In March 2021, she served as a Dean’s Ambassador for UM’s College of Arts and Sciences. That same month, Valle won the title of Miss Miami 2022 and all preliminary competition categories. Later competing for the title of Miss Florida 2022, where she placed in the Top 5.
On June 24th, 2023, Valle was crowned Miss Florida 2023 at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. She will go on to represent the state of Florida at the Miss America Pageant.
In addition to being a student and titleholder, Valle is also very active with her charity work. Her platform, “The Power of Prevention,” concerns chronic kidney disease prevention and advocacy, and she has been a national ambassador for Donate Life America since December 2020. Valle
has also developed statewide ambassadorships with the National Kidney Foundation of Florida and the Florida Renal Association, for which I work as a partner, performer, and spokesperson. In addition to the vast amount of time donated to these ambassadorships, she decided to use my musical talent to create Christmas music where all the proceeds would go to the kidney disease awareness charities of my choice. Her initial single, “Winter Wonderland,” was released in December 2020. 100% of the proceeds from this single were donated to Donate Life America. The success of this launch inspired Valle to release an entire holiday album, “Joyfully, Juliette
Valle,” which was released in December 2022. 100% of the proceeds from the whole album were divided between Donate Life America and the National Kidney Foundation of Florida. The album features 10-holiday songs, and Valle is now an official iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon artist.
In April 2021, Valle was chosen as 1 of 14 Hispanic Women of Distinction for the Miami Herald (El Heraldo). This incredible organization dedicates itself to honoring high-achieving South Florida Latinas each year. The organization also decided to award Valle the “UP & COMER LATINA AWARD” - this category honors a "young" Latina who is paving the way for others in the pipeline to leadership. 2021 was the first year this award took place, so she has the honor of being the first-ever recipient of this accolade. Valle is also the youngest candidate ever to be recognized as a Hispanic Woman of Distinction. In April 2020, Valle first discovered her love for journalism. She is the creator and host of "The Silver Lining" Show on YouTube, featuring several interviews with former/current MAO (Miss America Org) state titleholders, former Miss Americas, and transplant recipients/donors. In January 2022, Valle began working as a reporter for UMTV and served as an anchor/reporter on four shows: NewsBreak (politics), Pulse (entertainment), UniMiami (Spanish), and CanesCast (weather). It is her career goal to become a politically-focused broadcast journalist one day.
Valle plans to earn her Juris Doctorate and
dreams of becoming a U.S. Press Secretary.
